Artisan levels are another level up mechanic that is unlocked at wizard level 800. The upgrade costs 300 Star books, 200 Forest books, and 100 Warrior Books. Like with apprentice levels, they require points to level instead of just gold. The difference this time is that it requires 5 artisan points and 2 wizard books. Artisan points are obtained from apprentice level up perks (infinitely repeatable but might not always show up), wizard books can be obtained from: godly trades (after unlocking artisan?); first clear from artisan arena; crafted like the other books (requires a memory fragment upgrade). The cost to craft a Wizard book after obtaining the upgrade is 400 Star Books, 200 Forest Books, and 150 Warrior Books. To reach these levels of books you may need to put points into the Arcania once you have that upgrade.
Each artisan point also provides +100 max tulanga level (goes away once you spend the point)
